Footage surfaced earlier today which showed ‘The Notorious’ shoving Chandler in the face during filming for the latest instalment of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF).
Dana White previously confirmed an altercation between the pair had taken place during the filming for season 31. Today, footage of the said incident appeared on social media.
It is unclear at this stage how frosty the relationship is between McGregor and Chandler. Before filming the series, things seemed cordial between the pair, but comments made by Chandler post-production indicated that the more time he spent around ‘The Notorious’, the more he found him annoying.
Then, in a recent interview with ESPN, Chandler seemed to revel in the thought of fighting McGregor and went into some detail about how he thought the fight would go, describing that he would ‘bludgeon’ his opponent. Chandler’s comments elicited a response on Twitter from McGregor, indicating that there may now be growing tensions between the pair.
The video above will whet the appetite of the fans itching to see Conor McGregor back in action, and they will be hoping they don’t have to wait too long. Ordinarily, the coaches from The Ultimate Fighter would fight soon after the conclusion of the series. However, it is looking like we will be forced to wait longer due to McGregor’s ongoing issues with the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA).
