Tyson Fury, the WBC and Lineal Heavyweight Champion, boxed former UFC Heavyweight Champion, Francis Ngannou, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Saturday night in what was a close fought contest. Ngannou began the fight in a patient and calm manner and shocked the world when he knocked Fury to the canvas with a left hook in round three. Fury got up and had success with his jab, however he didn’t cause any significant damage to Ngannou over the ten rounds.
The fight went to the judges scorecards, with Tyson Fury retaining his unbeaten record with a split decision victory (96-93, 95-94, 94-95.)
